Vanessa Hull and new Masters student Yichao Zeng traveled with students and colleagues from China West Normal University to Wolong Nature Reserve in Sichuan, China to meet longtime collaborators and lay the groundwork for future field studies on biodiversity conservation and human impacts in this renowned protected area. The team paid a visit to the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda (CCRCGP), a leading institute on the study of the giant panda.
Vanessa Hull traveled to visit China West Normal University in Sichuan, China to meet with students and colleagues, including Dr. Jindong Zhang, an associate professor and key collaborator at the institute. Vanessa received recognition for her new status as an adjunct faculty member at the Key Laboratory of Southwest China Wildlife Resources Conservation at the university.
Vanessa and Jindong also gave a talk to faculty and students summarizing several years of research in Wolong Nature Reserve. We look forward to close collaboration with this institute in the years ahead.
